5th and 6th Grade Science Fair-Friday, May 9
Our annual 5th & 6th Grade Science Fair will take place on Friday, May 9. We are currently seeking volunteer judges with a background in Science or STEM-related fields. If you are interested in serving as a judge, please contact Ms. Po at [email protected] by Friday, May 2.

Title One Parent Survey
As we begin to close out the 2024-2025 school year, we are asking families to complete a survey to evaluate our Title I programming. Please complete this survey by Friday, May 23rd.

GWCS will celebrate Earth Day on Wednesday, May 7th!
Students and staff will engage in a variety of environmentally focused projects, including planting tree tubelings and flowers, and participating in local park clean-ups. If you are interested in volunteering, please reach out to Ms. Po at [email protected] by Friday, May 2.

GWCS Celebrates AAPI Month!
This month we celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, also known as Asian American Month, to recognize and honor the contributions, achievements, and experiences of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders in the United States. Asian Americans have a rich heritage and have made significant contributions in various fields such as science, technology, arts, politics, business, and more. This month is an opportunity to highlight their diverse cultures, histories, and the significant role they have played in shaping American society.



Cradles to Crayons Book Drive
From April 23-May 7, our Student Leadership Team will be holding a book drive to benefit Cradles to Crayons. Please send in new or gently used books for all children's ages and reading levels through middle school!
